Our 2 day Roundwood Timber Framing & Reciprocal Roundhouse Building Course provides an overview and practice of cutting a range of timber joints, such as scribed (butter-pat, mortise and tenon joints for cruck frames, and half lap joints. As well as cutting all the joints you’ll need to build a roundhouse we will also set up a reciprocal roundhouse roof and talk through the design considerations for a roundhouse, including looking at foundations, timber sourcing and harvesting, and roofing & walling options.
