The Spinning Circlet

A hand powered vortex of colour that shifts and spins. 

Created for Burning Nest festival 2024 as an interactive piece for participants. Handmade from over a hundred pieces of stained glass fixed into 3 separate frames, each driven via a cenral drive shaft.

Overall size 100cm x 100cm, mounted on timber frame with reverse mirror finish and blackout paint
