CuboSlice
This piece is a rendering of a cuboctahedron with increased frequency, observed from a particular perspective. The cuboctahedron was a shape M C Escher had a lot of time for and this piece is inspired by his adage of a "stupid flat shape" on paper seems to take on its own will and depth. The distribution of coloured glass plays with the depth perspective and shape of the piece, shifting between a sense of an abstract 2d shape that motions into 3d.
The Cuboslice is one of our larger hanging pieces and is available as a bespoke commission.
